Rovelo Ridgetrak R/T released by Sailun Tire Americas

HORSESHOE BAY, Texas — Sailun Tire Americas (STA) launched a new rugged-terrain tire under its Rovelo brand in late August.

The Rovelo Ridgetrak R/T made its official debut on Aug. 20 along the dusty trail in Texas, where STA hosted a large group of customers on a Bronco Off-Roadeo ride and drive.

"Its purpose-driven design features an optimized tread pattern that guarantees stability, and the sturdy sidewalls with enhanced biters increase durability, both crucial on this Texan expedition," the company said. "The Ridgetrak R/T has been engineered and rigorously tested to provide the high-performance that drivers expect from Rovelo."

The Ridgetrak R/T is available in 36 sizes, ranging from 16- to 22-inch rim diameters. Speed ratings include S, T and Q.

The tire carries the 3-peak mountain snowflake (3PMS) for snow performance, and LT sizes are pinned for studs.

The tire comes with a 45,000-mile limited treadwear warranty, as well as limited treadlife protection.

"Not only did the Ridgertrak R/T master the roughest of off-roading, but it will also maintain excellent road manners on your daily drive, and its robust visual appeal will command attention while doing it."

In Canada, Groupe Touchette distributes the Rovelo brand. In the U.S., the Rovelo brand is mostly sold through Southern Tire Mart.

The new Ridgetrak R/T will be built at the company's state-of-the-art facility in Cambodia that opened in 2021.

All products for North America will be built in either Vietnam, Cambodia or Mexico, where the company broke ground there earlier this year. Production is expected to start in early 2026.

STA goes to market under the brand names Sailun, ERange, Blackhawk, Rovelo, RoadX and Ironhead. STA is the Americas business unit of Dongying City, China-based Sailun Group Co. Ltd., which Tire Business ranks as the 10th largest tire maker in the world with 2023 tire sales of $3.6 billion.
