LOS ANGELES — Prinx Chengshan Tire North America Inc.has unveiled two specialty tires, the PTL1 spread-axle trailer tire and the Prinx PSL1ET enhanced long haul steer tire.

Prinx said the PTL1 is manufactured with a specialized tread compound that withstands the pressures of wear and tear. It has an arc shoulder design that distributes lateral forces evenly, helping to prevent abrasion.

The -angle zigzag pattern within the shoulder groove base ensures stability for shoulder pattern blocks, Prinx Chengshan said, providing addied resistance against casing fatigue and tread block tearing. Incorporated stone ejectors and gradient grooves work together to diminish tread cap damage and foster iere retreading.

The firm also said the tire features a "robust bead filler and high-strength rim cushion" that helps the tire handle high-load spread- axle applications and navigate lateral forces during turns.

The product, like all Prinx TBR products, come with a five-year/two-retread guarantee.

Pete Salvan, vice president of sales at Prinx Chengshan, said the PTL1 "embodies our commitment to delivering unparalleled performance solutions that truly resonate with our customers. This tire stands as a testament to our dedication to driving excellence in sales and enhancing the value we provide."

Meanwhile the Prinx PSL1ET is SmartWay verified, the company said, "affirming its capacity to minimize rolling resistance, enhance fuel efficiency and decrease carbon emissions" in heavy-duty tractor applications.

The tire is engineered for long-haul conditions, Prinx said, with an increased load index and a 16-ply rating, maintaining stability and control in long-haul terrains.

The PSL1ET features decoupling grooves that, coupled with groove siping, ensure even wear over extended mileage, as well as stone ejectors that shield the casing from stone drilling. The casing is built for multiple retreads, optimizing longevity and cost-efficiency.

The tire is available in two sizes: 295/75R22.5 LRG and 295/75R22.5 LRH, with six more in development: 11R22.5 LRG/LRH, 11R24.5 LRG/LRH; and 285/75R24.5 LRG/LRH

Salvan called the PSL1ET "a game-changer in our value-tier lineup. Its unmatched features are poised to enhance our customers' bottom line and drive exceptional sales performance."

Prinx Chengshan Tire North America recently unveiled a pair of Fortune-brand specialty fitments, the FTH102 for spread-axle trailers and FFH 130ET for long-haul steer tires.
