DAYTON, Tenn. — Winter enthusiasts have three more chances over the coming weeks to win a set of Nokian tires by entering Nokian Tyres P.L.C.'s virtual Green Tire Giveaway.
Each week followers may explore a participating POWDR resort virtually at NokianTires.com/GTG. Contestants can place a pinpoint on the website map where they think the virtual green tire for that week might be hidden.
The entrant whose guess is closest to the location selected by the resort will win a set of tires from Nokian Tyres, which claims to have invented the winter tire.
Nokian Tyres will give away one set of tires per week. Second-place entrants will earn a pair of day passes to that week's participating POWDR resort.
Winners already have been announced for the first two weeks of the contest, which featured the Killington (Vermont) and and Eldora Mountain (Colorado) resorts.
This week's event is at the Copper Mountain resort in Colorado. The other participating resorts are Mount Bachelor, Ore., (Oct. 30-Nov. 4) and Pico, Vt. (Nov. 6-11).
Resorts will provide one clue per day on their social media channels to help contestants decipher the virtual tire's location. Nokian Tyres will also share the clues on its Facebook and Instagram channels: @NokianTyresNA. Contestants are allowed one guess per day.
