Nitto unveils new all-terrain Grappler tire

COSTA MESA, Calif. — Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. has unveiled the Terra Grappler G3 all-terrain tire for various weather and terrain conditions.

The tire carries a 3PMS snow rating and the highest limited treadwear warranty ever offered for a Grappler tire — 70,000-miles for hard metric sizes and 55,000 miles for LT- and flotation sizes, the company said.

In response to extensive customer feedback and evolving market needs, Nitto said it not only refreshed the Terra Grappler but re-engineered it.

The G3 features a new tread pattern and bold dual-sidewall designs that are both visually appealing and provide increased performance, Nitto said, noting that a major breakthrough in is its new rubber compound that improves both wet and dry traction and wear performance.

"The Terra Grappler G3 pushes the boundaries of what an all-terrain tire can accomplish both on- and off-road," said Alan Ngo, Nitto Tire's director of product innovation and business development.

"It's our best performing Grappler tire yet, backed with an compelling warranty that brings even further value to our customers."

The Terra Grappler G3 will be available in September, with 47 sizes launching in 2024. Available sizes range from 16- to 22-inch wheel diameters and are suited for a wide range of OE-replacement and plus-sizes, for half-, three-quarter and one-ton trucks and SUVs.

Additional sizes will be released in 2025.
