DANVERS, Mass. — Maxam Tire North America Inc. has launched a line of tubber tracks for construction equipment.
The initial release features three models — MT130, MT150 and MT170 — designed for use in a variety of surface conditions and applications.
"We are thrilled to introduce our new rubber tracks line to the market," Maxam President Troy Kline said.
"This launch is a natural extension of our proven success in the off-the-road tire industry. The MT130, MT150 and MT170 tracks are just the beginning; we are committed to continuous innovation and additional product development to meet the evolving needs of our customers."
The MT130 features an H-Lug tread pattern, providing traction and resistance to cuts and wear. Designed for multiple surface conditions, the track is available in both narrow and wide widths to suit different working environments.
The MT150 is designed for wet surfaces and features a Z-Lug, self-cleaning stepped tread pattern for traction while maintaining maximum cut and wear resistance. The track is available in narrow and wide widths.
The MT170 Mini-excavator is a general-purpose solution adaptable to various terrains. The track features increased net to gross, a cut and tear-resistant compound and a heavy-duty carcass for maximum stability.
Maxam Tire has also released two rubber track features on the Maxam Mobile App — available on smartphone app stores — to better assist customers: Track Fitment Guide and Ground Pressure Calculator.
These features will enable customers to find the right track for their equipment and to compare different track estimated ground pressures, the company said.
