COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kenda Rubber Industrial Co. Ltd. has redesigned its corporate logo amid a "brand refresh" strategy that aligns with the firm's "Designed for Your Journey" marketing message.
Kenda, the No. 26 tire maker worldwide with annual sales of over $1.25 billion, said the brand refresh strategy that aims to communicate the Taipei, Taiwan-based firm's core values of honesty, quality, service and innovation.
"At Kenda, we are passionate about helping our customers reach their dest inations safely and reliably," Kenda Chair and President Jimmy Yang said
"We design our products to be durable, performance oriented and value driven. We are constantly exploring possibilities and finding new ways to innovate and improve our efficiency and capabilities.
"Our new brand image and logo reflect our vision of 'Designed for Your Journey,' and our commitment to being a world-class brand."
The new logo incorporates three design elements: a check-mark shape on the top that represents quality assurance and safety; an inverted V shape on the bottom that symbolizes a strong foundation; and a diagonal line in the middle that represents the road ahead.
The logo retains Kenda's corporate colors of red, white and black, which are used in three variants: red and white on black; red and black on white; and white on red.
Kenda is represented in North America by Columbus-based Kenda Tire USA Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary.
