JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — CEAT Specialty Tires has introduced the Lawnmax tire line, designed for garden and utility tractors.
It is available in the 280/70R16 and 360/70R24 sizes in North America.
With its deeper tread depth, the Lawnmax offers improved traction and extended tread life compared with traditional R-3 tires, the company said.
The rounded shoulder design helps reduce soil compaction, preserving soil health. An innovative tread pattern ensures effective self-cleaning, keeping the tires free from debris, CEAT said.
The Lawnmax, with its radial construction, is designed to be easy on the turf and its block pattern provides a larger footprint and lower ground pressure. A directional tread pattern delivers a comfortable ride and lower rate of wear, CEAT said.
"The Lawnmax addresses an important segment of the tractor market and is another example of CEAT aggressively developing new products based on recommendations from our customers," Chief Executive Amit Tolani said.
CEAT Specialty Tires is a business unit of India's CEAT Ltd. The company has been active in the U.S. market since 2017 with its own subsidiary.
