TORONTO — BKT Canada Inc. has joined the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC), the industry group announced recently.
BKT Tires Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of India-based Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT), a maker of off-highway tires in the off-the-road (OTR), agricultural and industrial sectors.
BKT ranked 30th in the world among tire makers with $1.025 billion in sales, according to Tire Business' 2024 Global Tire Report."

"We're excited to work closely with TRAC, push the boundaries of excellence and contribute our expertise to a brighter, greener future for Canada's tire sector."
The industry group represents 26 manufacturers, importers and recyclers in the Canadian tire industry.
TRAC President & CEO Carol Hochu said BKT would bring valuable insights and expertise to the Canadian tire and rubber industry.
