DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) has extended and expanded its four-year-old exclusive tire supplier agreement with Continental Tire the Americas' General Tire brand for five more seasons, through 2024.

The new agreement solidifies General Tire's status as the official tire of and sole supplier for the ARCA Menards Series as well as for the ARCA Menards Series East and West and includes race entitlements, at-track activation and billboards, broadcast activation and at-track service for teams at all of the series' races, the partners said.

The new deal will run through the conclusion of the 2024 season; financial terms were not disclosed.

ARCA's relationship with General Tire was announced at the season finale at Kansas in 2015; it was extended and expanded in 2017.

"General Tire has been a fantastic partner over the last four seasons," ARCA President Ron Drager said, noting that General has sponsored races, supported live broadcasts and created "really great" activities and content for fans at the track.

Mr. Drager also lauded General Tire supplying a "consistent race tire that our teams can count on from the high-speed tracks like Daytona and Talladega to the dirt tracks at Springfield and DuQuoin and to the road courses like Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen."

Travis Roffler, director of marketing for the General Tire brand, said the brand "is proud to build on the relationship we established in 2016."

The 38-race 2020 ARCA Menards Series season starts with the 57th annual Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 8. The race will be broadcast live on FS1.

The ARCA deal is in addition to General Tire's status as the exclusive tire supplier and official racing tire status with NASCAR's K&N Pro Series, Pinty's Series and PEAK Mexico Series for the next few years, deals that came about after NASCAR acquired ARCA in 2018.

General-brand race tires are produced by Hoosier Racing Tire Corp., a Continental Tire subsidiary since 2016.
