Latin Tyre Expo set for June 14-16 in Panama

PANAMA CITY, Panama — In less than four months, the Latin Tyre & Auto Parts Expo will be held for the first time since 2019, and the first time at Panama's newest venue.

The event, set for June 14-16, will be held at the Panama Convention Center, which at 600,000 square feet is double the size of the event's previous venue.

The convention center's size allows the event organizers to "host both the tire and auto parts expos together under the same roof," according to Gus Lima, CEO of Latin Expo Group.

The event will bring together tire and auto parts manufacturers with thousands of distributors throughout Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Jason Rook, newly named president and CEO of the Independent Tire Dealers Group (ITDG), called the show "possibly the most important show of the year in the Americas. Attending and exhibiting at this show have literally changed my career, opened many doors, and changed my perspective on our industry. This show puts together people from all over the world in a relaxed setting that gets business done."

Paula Guerrero, international sales director for Lima Caucho S.A., said the show is "the best place to meet with customers from Latin America, South, Central, the Caribbean and other countries as well."
