HANOVER, Germany — Continental A.G. is projecting a slight gain in its fiscal 2022 tire business unit adjusted earnings (EBIT) margin on the strength of 18.6% higher sales revenue.
The EBIT margin is expected to come in about 13.1%, Conti said, slightly above the range of 12.0% to 13.0% previously predicted for the tires unit.
Sales grew to $15.2 billion, in line with earlier forecasts. Conti at this point did not disclose details.
Overall, Continental said it expects to report a fiscal 2022 group EBIT margin of about 5% on revenue of roughly $43 billion.
Conti plans to publish its preliminary fiscal 2022 financial figures on March 8, with the full annual report due out on March 22.
