ZC Rubber names Wells president of German tech center

HANOVER, Germany — Zhongce Rubber Group (ZC Rubber) has promoted two employees to new positions at its Germany operations.

Martin Wells has been named the managing director/president of the ZC Technical Center & Global OE in Hanover, while Jörn Tietjens has been named the senior key account manager at the tech center.

Wells, who joined the ZC Technical Center when it was established in 2021, will oversee all aspects of the ZC Technical Center, including the global OE business development for international OEMs and account management globally.

During his careeer, ZC Rubber said Wells drove trategies that support OE project development and customer relationships and has played a significant role in international OEM business development.

Wells has 20-plus years of experience in the automotive and tire industry. Before joining ZC Rubber, he served in several roles for international tire makers, including Giti Tire and Hankook Tyre.

Tietjens will be responsible for all international OEM account management: Developing, testing and marketing new products to key OE accounts, in addition to coordinating commercial and technical support to meet customer-related targets.

Tietjens joined ZC Technical Center as key account manager OE and automotive engineer in 2021. ZC Rubber said he worked for leading international OEMs, including Volkswagen A.G. and Giti Tire, before joining ZC.
