RNR Tire Express promotes Sutton, Warren to key roles

TAMPA, Fla. — RNR Tire Express (RNR) has promoted Adam Sutton to president and Matthew Warren to senior vice president. The Tampa-based tire and wheel franchisor has more than 150 locations around the country.

Mr. Sutton, the son of RNR founder and CEO Larry Sutton, joined the company full time in 2017 as the executive vice president. Prior to that, Mr. Sutton served as chief experience officer at a top digital and live creative agency, leading and producing projects and events for global brands such as Microsoft, Disney, Under Armour and Oprah, RNR said.

Mr. Sutton has a passion for the rent-to-own industry and its customers dating back to his childhood, the company said, when he would travel with his father to his former company's stores. With a secondary passion for film and television production, Mr. Sutton has also directed and produced over 50 TV commercials, where he has received dozens of national advertising awards, the company said.

Mr. Warren, previously RNR's director of corporate development, has been with the franchise for five years. The company said he is part of a growing corporate office, and will work within each department to improve efficiencies and develop strategies as RNR's growth continues.

"Our goals remain the same as always, and that is to continue to make RNR the best tire and wheel concept in America by serving our customers, and not just providing service."

This year, RNR has broken the 150-store threshold while increasing its location presence to 26 states. The national lease-purchase franchise boasts an annual sales income of more than $200 million and donates over $1 million annually to local non-profit organizations.
