BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec — Point S Canada has hired Jacqueline Gravel as vice president, buying and merchandising, where she will oversee the Boucherville-based company's purchasing and merchandising team, among other responsibilities.
Ms. Gravel comes to Point S Canada from Lowe's Canada, where she was was vice president of merchandising, working with Canadian and international suppliers. She also has served as vice president of operations at L'Aubainerie and Familiprix.
"We are thrilled to be welcoming Jacqueline to our organization," Point S Canada President and CEO Bruno Leclair said.
"With her knowledge of independent merchant networks, expertise in purchasing and merchandising with national and international suppliers, and leadership skills, she will help the company evolve to reach part of its growth targets."
Point S Canada cited her 25-plus years of experience and said she is "extremely knowledgeable" about networks and merchandising.
"She is known for her outstanding communication and leadership skills and her ability to innovate in changing environments."
