AKRON — Goodyear has promoted Mike Dwyer to president of Goodyear's North America Consumer business, effective immediately.

Dwyer replaces Scott Rogers, who has left the company, according to Goodyear. Mr. Rogers had served in that role since since September of 2017. Mr. Rogers also worked as Goodyear's chief marketing officer for the North America consumer business from 2009 to 2017.

Mr. Dwyer previously served as chief customer officer and chief marketing officer for Goodyear's North America consumer business. He helped develop some of the company's best-known brand assets, including the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

Mr. Dwyer will report to Ryan Patterson, chief operating and integration officer, Goodyear Americas. Mr. Patterson was promoted to the newly created position earlier this month, in which he will oversee integration in both the Americas and global units

Mr. Patterson will directly oversee the integration of Cooper into the Goodyear portfolio.

Goodyear said Mr. Dwyer "brings a deep understanding of the company's brand, products and customers to his new role," Goodyear said.

Mr. Dwyer will be succeeded by Renee Radabaugh, who has been named vice president of Goodyear's North America Consumer Channels and Categories teams.

Ms. Radabaugh will oversee the consumer replacement business. She has extensive experience across Goodyear's Americas business, having held leadership roles in its North America Consumer, North America Commercial and Latin America business units.

Most recently, Ms. Radabaugh led the integration of sales and marketing activities for the Americas business as part of combining the Goodyear and Cooper businesses.

"We have tremendous opportunities ahead of us, given the strength of the marketplace, high demand for our products and the significant potential created by bringing together Goodyear and Cooper," Mr. Patterson said. "I am confident that Mike Dwyer and Renee Radabaugh will be instrumental in taking Goodyear's North America Consumer business to new heights of growth and success."
