YAZD, Iran — Iranian tire maker Yazd Rubber Industries has completed an expansion project at its manufacturing facility in the southern city of Yazd, the company announced Feb. 14.
The $59 million project, which was launched three years ago, increases production capacity for passenger car and light truck tires by 3,000 units to 12,000 units per day, the company said.
The project, according to the manufacturer, involved the addition of three tire building machines and 10 curing presses.
