BROCKTON, Mass. — VIP Tires & Service hosted a grand opening June 18 of its newest retail store, an eight-bay greenfield site in Brockton.
The new store is VIP's ninth in Massachusetts and 71st overall throughout New England.
VIP also launched a six-week "Oil Changes for Education" initiative (June 18-July 31) during which customers can receive any Valvoline oil change for $10, with VIP donating the proceeds to the Brockton Public Schools.
The 6,000-sq.-ft. store has eight service bays outfitted with new Hunter Inc. alignment equipment and Autel automotive scanners to provide state-of-the-art tire alignment and precision vehicle diagnostics, the dealership said. The store opens with eight to 10 employees.
Brockton is a city of 105,000 residents located roughly 25 miles south of Boston. The new store is a few miles west of downtown Brockton on Westgate Drive.
