HANOVER, Mass. — VIP Tires & Service will host a grand opening on Oct. 1 of its newest store, a 10-bay facility in Hanover.
The store is a renovated existing building on Washington Street in north Hanover that previously housed a Land Rover dealership.
VIP said it is outfitting its Hanover location with premium finishes including a covered drive-up service reception area and a customer lounge with free wi-fi, coffee, water and several working spaces for customers to use while their vehicle is being serviced.
The 14,000-sq.-ft. facility has 10 service bays, updated equipment — including Hunter alignment technology and Autel automotive scanners — and will employ eight to 10 people. The store will be open seven days a week.
VIP said the store will stock almost 3,000 tires on-site, which will allow customers to get their new tires installed without waiting for tires to be delivered from another location.

VIP operates 71 retail locations throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. The Hanover store is VIP's 10th retail outlet in Massachusetts.
