NAMPA, Idaho — TBC Corp. and its National Tire Wholesale (NTW) subsidiary have opened a tire distribution center in Nampa to provide products to Idaho and eastern Oregon.
The 30,000-plus sq.-ft. facility is stocked with 30,000 tires, including agricultural products as well as others from tire brands Michelin, Nexen, Sailun, Sumimo and Toyo. Nampa is located 20 miles west of Boise.
According to TBC, the facility will serve 600 customers in the region, among TBC Corp.'s 42,000 customers in nearly 100 metropolitan regions.
The facility was dedicated Nov. 7 with a group of TBC executives as well as local dignitaries, customers and employees in attendance.
NTW Chief Operating Officer Rodger Smith said the warehouse "is strategically located to better support our customers and their growing businesses. While we've served customers in the Boise area for decades, we're excited to officially be part of this thriving metropolitan community."
Others attending the event include Chief Supply Chain Officer Chris Stearman and Chief Human Resources Officer Megan Filoon.
"We are focused on excellence at every turn, and our presence here demonstrates our unwavering commitment to being the distributor of choice and ensuring our customers have the products they need, when they need them," Smith said.
