LYON, France — Point S international has added two markets to its network of independent auto centers and tire dealers: Macau, an autonomous region on the south coast of China across from Hong Kong; and in Spain.
By establishing a network in Macau — two locations are already open — Point S said it is building on its Asian development strategy.
Spain, meanwhile, represents the 26th European country (and 51 globally) where Point S has a presence. The group's reach stretches to Africa, Asia, South America and North America.
Point S International CEO Fabien Bouquet said: it has been a longtime ambition to enter Macau and Spain "and further solidify our strength in Asia and Europe. By combining our decades of experience with our expertise in tires and automotive maintenance, we can offer consumers in these new markets a first-rate service.
Point S was founded in 1971, and currently has more than 6,100 points of sale globally, including nearly 300 in the U.S.
Point S Tire & Automotive Service USA. recently christened a new warehouse in Memphis, $2 million-plus investment that also will serve as a training center.
