HIGH RIDGE, Mo. — Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers Inc. has opened its 51st retail tire store, an 8,000-sq.-ft. facility in Osage Beach at the Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., and plans to open its 52nd store, in O'Fallon, Mo., in the near future.
Located at 4670 Osage Beach Parkway, the greenfield retail outlet employs 11 and includes eight tire and automotive service bays, a large showroom and a modernized customer waiting area.
"We are so excited about opening our first store at the Lake (of the Ozarks)," Dobbs Tire President Dustin Dobbs said, without disclosing the firm's cost to open the store.
"For years we've heard from people from all parts of Missouri who live or vacation at the lake about how much they wanted access to our experienced team of associates and the wonderful customer experience we're known for when buying new tires and expert automotive service and repairs. Through our new location, we've made meeting those demands possible."
Osage Beach is town of roughly 5,000 residents located on the southeastern quadrant of Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri.
Dobbs is the 21st largest retail tire dealership in the U.S., based on company-owned outlets, according to Tire Business rankings.
Since its founding with a single store in 1976, Dobbs Tire has grown to employ more than 750 at 36 stores in Missouri, eight in Illinois and seven in Texas.
