SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Discount Tire/America’s Tire has opened five retail stores across the country since last week, as North America’s third-largest independent tire dealer continues to expand.
The new stores are in Orlando, Fla.; Oceanside, Calif.; Longmont, Colo.; Exton, Pa., and Brookfield, Wis., the company announced.
Three of the stores are in towns where Discount Tire/America’s Tire already operates.
The new Orlando store at 2061 Narcoossee Road opened Wednesday. It is the fifth Discount Tire in the city and one of more than 40 in Florida.
The other stores opened last week. In California, the new store at 3935 Mission Ave. is the fourth Discount Tire in Oceanside, a city north of San Diego, and one of more than 140 stores in the state. Likewise, the Discount Tire at 2060 Main St. in Longmont is the second store in that community and one of 56 in Colorado.
With the Wisconsin and Pennsylvania stores, Discount Tire/America's Tire is expanding into new markets.
The store at 20120 W. Bluemound Road in Brookfield is the first Discount Tire in that Milwaukee suburb and one of 15 stores in Wisconsin.
In eastern Pennsylvania, the new America's Tire store at 332 N. Pottstown Pike in Exton, gives the company seven stores in the state. It has been using the America's Tire brand as it expands in the Northeast.
Details about the size of the stores and number of employees were not available.
Scottsdale-based Reinalt Thomas Corp. operates more than 1,215 Discount Tire/America's Tire stores in 39 states, and has said it plans to keep expanding.
The first Discount Tire opened in 1960 in Ann Arbor, Mich. The company had corporate sales of more than $9.5 billion in fiscal year 2023.
