TireHub hires ex-Goodyear exec John Cavanaugh as CFO

DUNWOODY, Ga. — TireHub L.L.C. has hired former Goodyear executive John Cavanaugh as chief financial officer, succeeding Scott King, who intends to retire later this year.

Cavanaugh's appointment is effective July 1.

CFO of TireHub since the Bridgestone Americas/Goodyear joint venture was founded in 2018, King will aid in the transition before his retirement later this year, TireHub said.

"John is a seasoned finance executive who brings more than 15 years of tire industry experience to TireHub," TireHub CEO Ted Becker said.

"I am confident he will add a new level of strategic vision to our leadership team as we continue our trajectory of dynamic growth."

Cavanaugh most recently was CFO and vice president of administration at GOJO Industries Inc. and prior to that worked at Goodyear for over 15 years in a variety of financial leadership positions.

King was senior vice president, strategy and business development for Goodyear for eight years before joining TireHub in 2018. Before that he was CFO for nearly nine years for Veyance Technologies Inc., the company founded in 2006 to take over Goodyear's industrials products businesses.
