FORT MILL, S.C. — Continental Tire the Americas LLC has appointed three leaders in its passenger and light truck (P/LT) sales department:
- Ron Sinclair has joined Continental Tire as director of sales, distribution;
- Dave Deronne has been promoted to director of sales for the retail channel; and
- Bob Jones has been promoted to director of sales for the car dealer channel.
Sinclair was vice president of sales and branch operations for TransAxle L.L.C. and previously spent over 15 years at American Tire Distributors (ATD) in several roles, including vice president of marketing, senior vice president of marketing and president of the Tire Pros franchise.
In his new role, Sinclair will lead the team for national and regional distribution customers as well as Continental's GOLD Retailer Program. Sinclair succeeds Sean McDermaid, who recently joined U.S. AutoForce as vice president of sales, central region.
Deronne has been with Continental Tire for 17 years and most recently was senior key account executive. Previously, he worked in purchasing at Delphi Technologies.
In his new role, Deronne will lead the team for the retail channel, which includes regional and national retailers.
Jones has been with Continental Tire for nearly 12 years and most recently was head of programs and planning. Previously he spent seven years with Michelin North America.
In his new role, Jones will lead a team for the car dealer channel focused on automotive dealership aftermarket business.
