PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — TBC Corp. has named Shingo Aso as executive vice president of corporate development.
He will lead corporate development initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and new business development, TBC said.
Aso recently served as general manager of tire department at Sumitomo Corp. He previously worked at TBC as executive vice president of corporate development from 2018-19 and as executive coordinator for the company from 2015-17.
"With his extensive industry experience, we are thrilled to welcome Shingo back to TBC, as we continue to explore new strategic growth opportunities to maximize value for customers, partners and employees," Sam Kato, TBC president and CEO, said.
TBC operates tire wholesale and franchised retail operations, including Big O Tires and Midas.
