NORCROSS, Ga. — Mighty Distributing System of America Inc.'s Ken Voelker is splitting his leadership role — remaining as CEO while promoting Executive Vice President Josh D'Agostino to president.
The company, which does business as Mighty Auto Parts, also has hired Chris Adams to be vice president, franchise development and operations.
Mr. D'Agostino previously was executive vice president and chief development officer, responsible for the sales, franchise operations and franchise development departments as well as the company-owned operations and competitive acquisitions.
In his new role as president, he also will oversee the IT and human resources departments.
Prior to joining Mighty in 2016, Mr. D'Agostino was director, new business development, for Genuine Parts Co./NAPA Auto Parts.
Mr. Voelker has been president of Mighty Distributing since 1992 and was appointed CEO in 2009.
Mr. Adams comes to Mighty from GreatAmerica Financial Services Corp., where he worked for 16 years, most recently as vice president and general manager, health care group.
Norcross-based Mighty said it supports more than 100 vehicle service distributors in 44 states as well as five international distributors with underhood and undercar parts, chemical products, lubricants and shop supplies.
