GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — FullSpeed Automotive, the franchisor and operator of Grease Monkey, SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service and Kwik Kar, has promoted Ron Stilwell as president of franchising.
Previously serving as chief development officer, Stilwell has played a significant role in helping grow unit count by 31% in 2022, the company said, noting this is credited to a strong franchise development strategy, strategic mergers and acquisitions, and by implementing proven systems that will continue to lead to exponential growth as FullSpeed aims to achieve its growth goal of 1,000 units by the end of 2023.
As president of franchising, Stilwell will oversee all aspects of FullSpeed's franchise side of the business, including the operations department, development, training, purchasing, and licensing for Kwik Kar.
"My goals are to work closely with our franchise community to understand their challenges and opportunities to help meet their success goals," Stilwell said.
"As I step into this role, I look forward to working on more state-of-the-art technology enhancements that will help reduce labor and make operations more efficient — all with the guest experience in mind. By doing so, we'll maximize unit-level profitability and create opportunity for franchisees to confidently grow the number of units in their portfolio."
This appointment comes on the heels of the recent hiring of Rob Lynch as CEO.
"FullSpeed Automotive is building a team of best-in-class leaders to elevate and fuel growth," Lynch said. "The future is bright as we build on the strength of our flagship brands and expand our presence through strategic franchise partnerships and industry acquisitions. This is an exciting chapter in our organization's growth story, and with Stilwell leading the charge, I'm confident in the direction we're headed."
In 2022, FullSpeed has grown to more than 900 company, franchised and licensed points of sale, from 703.
