HIGH RIDGE, Mo. — Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers Inc. has appointed Dustin W. Dobbs, previously vice president of retail operations, president and COO, succeeding his father David W. Dobbs, who has been named chairman and CEO.
"Dustin represents the fourth generation of our family to take the reins as head of the company," David Dobbs said. "As his father, I couldn't be prouder of him, as he has earned his stripes working hard in various positions and levels of management since first joining the company as a store associate more than 25 years ago.
"His proven leadership serving on the company's executive team during the past five years, and skill sets, experience, vision, and enthusiasm will definitely take Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers to the next level, locally and regionally, in growth, expansion and success."
Since its founding with a single store in 1976, family-owned Dobbs Tire has grown to employ more than 600 at 43 locations in Missouri and in southern Illinois.
Dobbs Tire provides complete tire and automotive services for cars, light trucks, vans, SUVs, hybrids and electric vehicles.
