SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – American Pacific Industries (API ) has hired Geoff Doster as chief operating officer and promoted Barry Littrell, who joined the company in 2009, as president and CEO "to lead the company's overall vision and future expansion."
Doster, who has more than 20 years of experience in the tire and automotive industries, will oversee daily operations of the company, API said.
His hiring bu API comes a year after he was hired by China's Linglong Tire Group to be president of its Linglong N.A. Sales subsidiary.
"I'm honored to join API Tire at such an exciting time of growth and opportunity," he said. "The tire industry is evolving rapidly, and I look forward to working with this talented team to continue building on API's success and delivering exceptional value to our customers."
Doster, a former TBC executive, will focus on streamlining operations, improving customer experiences and growing API's footprint in the market, the company said.
"Geoff brings a wealth of experience and energy to our leadership team. I'm confident that under his operational guidance, API will continue to thrive and expand our reach," Littrell said.
"I'm grateful for the opportunity to lead API as president and CEO as we continuously strive to exceed customer expectations in part by developing the best tires in the industry."
"We are thrilled to welcome Geoff to the API family and to congratulate Barry on his well-deserved promotion," API Founder Jeff Kreitzman said. "This is a pivotal time for our company, and with Barry's vision and Geoff's operational expertise, we are poised for continued success and growth."
