MONROVIA, Calif. — CMA L.L.C. has hired David Misbrener to be the company's national OEM manager for the Double Coin Tires business and promoted two others in regional sales.
The company also promoted Tim Abel, previously regional sales manager, to national truck-stop manager and named Adriaan Van Niekerk to regional manager for the Southwest region, where he will be responsible for creating and growing business for Double Coin tires.
Prior to joining CMA, Mr. Misbrener worked for Continental Tire the Americas for 26 years, most recenlty as district sales manager. He will be responsible for supporting Double Coin's OTR and industrial tire lines.
Tim Phillips, vice president of marketing and operations for CMA, lauded Mr. Misbrener for his "proven sales tract, vast background in commercial business development, and negotiating skills," which will make him a "great asset" for CMA.
