BETHESDA, Md. — The Auto Care Association has hired Bert Hogeman to be its general counsel, responsible for all legal matters applicable to the ACA as a not-for-profit association.
Additionally, Mr. Hogeman will advise ACA executives, senior management and board members on all legal matters concerning the association, including legal rights, potential liabilities and the potential impact of new or existing laws and regulations, the ACA said.
Mr. Hogeman also will participate with and advise the ACA's government team as to the development and advocacy of its legislative and regulatory initiatives. He will report to ACA President and CEO Bill Hanvey.
Mr. Hogeman brings more than 35 years of experience as an attorney, both in private law and in-house legal departments, to his new position, the ACA said.
