WOODBRIDGE, Ontario — Aeolus Tire Canada has hired tire industry veteran John Overing as general manager, Canada, tasked with working closely with Dynamic Tire Inc., the exclusive distributor of Aeolus products in Canada.
Mr. Overing, who was president of Dynamic Tire from 2013 to 2016, will work to strengthen the relationship and assist Dynamic in expanding the presence of Aeolus in fleets across the country, the company said.
He moves to Aeolus from Hankook Tire America Corp., where he was director of sales and marketing from November 2017 through February 2020.
"Dynamic Tire has been a key partner in the successful growth of the Aeolus brand in Canada over the past years," Mr. Overing said.
"As the market becomes more competitive, we will need to strengthen the bond in order to develop products and services that better align to the needs of our customers."
He also previously worked for Maxam Tire International Ltd., Yokohama Tire Canada Inc. and Michelin North America.
Mr. Overing said he will coordinate new product launches as well as develop programs to help demonstrate the value of Aeolus tires to fleets across Canada.
