BETHESDA, Md. — The Auto Care Association (ACA) has named Scott Howat as the association's business development executive and Sara G. Greene as director of membership.
In his new role, Mr. Howat will focus on establishing long-term strategic goals, building customer relationships, identifying business opportunities and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
He has held multiple leadership roles in marketing, product management, sales and communications, most recently working at Syndigo, a data and analytics company. He previously served as vice president of product and marketing for Nivel Parts and Manufacturing and was director of sales and marketing with Gates Corp.
Mr. Howat also has been active with the ACA, serving on the association's marketing and communications committee, automotive communications council and having chaired the events committee.
In her new role, Ms. Greene will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the association's member recruitment and retention efforts.
She will work with the association's strategic development department to provide recommendations for growing key member segments, while creating and supporting the association's goals, researching new trends and implementing strategies to increase member engagement, diversity and retention.
Ms. Greene previously spent nearly 14 years with the National Retail Federation where she held numerous membership-specific roles, including most recently as senior director of member engagement and strategic partnerships.
