BOWIE, Md. — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) and market research firm GfK Group are planning a webinar on May 6 to discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting tire dealers and the tire industry.
New York-based GfK U.S. will share data from its point-of-sale (POS) retail panel, which TIA said provides a "near real-time window" into the effects of the crisis at the cash registers of tire dealers across the country.
The webinar — "What the Data Shows: How COVID-19 is Impacting the U.S. Retail Tire Industry" — will take place at 2 p.m. EDT on May 6 To register, go to insights.gfk.com.
Neil Portnoy, GfK managing director, POS tracking (tires U.S.), and Dave Stevens, GfK vice president, POS tracking, (tires U.S.), are scheduled to participate. Dave Zielasko, TIA vice president of marketing and communication, will moderate the session.
