GREENWOOD, Ind. — KYB Americas Corp. has launched its 2021 video training series, which the shocks/struts manufacturer said provides technicians, shop owners and service providers detailed information on how to increase sales of shocks and maintain customers' vehicles better.
The KYB video training series features seven 3- to 4-minute videos, each followed by a short quiz.
KYB experts explain how critical shocks are to vehicle control and safety systems, how to determine if shocks are worn enough to recommend replacement, how to sell value over price and why monotubes are a better option for many customers.
The videos offer content in English and Spanish, with a French version available soon.
KYB said with in-person events still limited because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the video training series allows service professionals to learn at their own pace.
"Training is an important part of what we do, and the time was right to launch a comprehensive video training series for service professionals," KYB Director of Marketing Aaron Shaffer said.
Each user who completes the training series will receive a long sleeve, KYB Truck-Plus shirt. The series can be found at www.kyb.com/training.
