Mitchell 1 enhances TruckSeries labor estimate guide

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — In an effort to speed up the repair process, Mitchell Repair Information Co. L.L.C. has enhanced the labor estimate guide for its Mitchell 1 TruckSeries truck repair information software.

The new navigation includes a "breadcrumb" format that makes it faster and easier to access estimated labor times for required repairs, Mitchell 1 said.

"Mitchell 1 has been the leader in mechanical labor estimates for over half a century. Our TruckSeries team works continuously to develop new features that speed up the process of getting vehicles repaired and back on the road," Kristy LaPage, business manager for Mitchell 1's commercial vehicle group, said.

"The latest enhancements make it faster and easier than ever to navigate directly to the information needed to kick off the repair process with an estimate that paves the way for the vehicle's quick return to service."

Updates include:

• streamlined navigation to reduce clicks and speed lookups and estimates;
• increased download speeds for faster delivery of information; and
• user-friendly displays of maintenance and fluids information including auto-expand capability, search and mileage interval display.

Mitchell 1's TruckSeries offers a truck repair information software suite for Class 4-8 trucks, providing a one-stop, single log-in, all-makes data resource for mechanical labor estimating, diagnostic trouble code procedures and comprehensive repair information.

TruckSeries is integrated with Manager SE Truck Edition, Mitchell 1's truck shop management software that delivers an end-to-end solution for every step of the repair process.
