Dana introduces Spicer Select 404 ring and pinion gearing

MAUMEE, Ohio — Dana Inc. has introduced Spicer Select commercial vehicle 404 ring and pinion gearing, which it claims performs nine times better than the aftermarket competition.

Made for post-warranty vehicle service, the gearing features Dana's patented five-axis cutting and is manufactured with the same quality control measures as genuine Spicer gearing, the company said. The parts are backed by an 18-month, 100,000 mile warranty.

The gearing is manufactured with the same heat treatment processes and materials as Spicer original-equipment gears, the company said. There is no minimum order quantity and short lead time shipments are available, including same-day or next-day shipping in most cases.
