David Manley joined Tire Business as managing editor in September 2019. He brings more than 15 years of journalism experience to his job, having spent the last 6-plus years at The Canton (Ohio) Repository, where he most recently was visual content editor, overseeing the design department that was responsible for the print, website and social media content for 10 publications around Northeast Ohio. He also was business editor for a time at the Canton paper, leading a team of reporters who detailed business news in and around Stark County, Ohio. An accomplished photographer, David was in charge of the photo department at The Repository, coordinating photo and video shoots as well as managing staff. He served as a member of the newspaper's editorial board, helping to formulate the publication's position on issues.
