NORWELL, Mass. — Boston Red Sox baseball is back, and Sullivan Tire & Auto Service is stepping up to the plate to welcome the reigning World Series Champions to a new season.
The newest Sullivan Tire television advertisement featuring the company's Vice President of Marketing Paul Sullivan and Red Sox Manager Alex Cora will make its debut in May. The spot, filmed at Lloyd's Diner in Farmingham, Mass., features David Little, better known to Red Sox fans as the "Sausage Guy," who has been serving up sausages outside Fenway Park for decades.
Sullivan Tire announced the marketing partnership with Mr. Cora in March, noting at the time that the Red Sox skipper joins Dustin Pedroia, Jim Rice, Dennis Eckersley and Terry Francona to have served as ambassadors for the dealership.
Mr. Cora's two-year agreement includes TV commercials and personal appearances.
"Alex is such a genuine guy and welcoming to everyone he comes in contact with; it's just a pleasure to work with him," Mr. Sullivan said. "He has an engaging personality, and thanks to that, this commercial will be entertaining for Red Sox fans."
