WASHINGTON — The U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) has elected four new board members.
The new members are:
- Don Bunn, president and CEO, Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc.;
- Samuel Choi, CEO & president, Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc.;
- Marco Crola, chairman and CEO, Pirelli Tire North America; and
- Tom Lehner, vice president, government affairs, Bridgestone Americas Inc.
The USTMA board of directors voted unanimously to approve the new members at its April 4 meeting. All four will serve three-year terms.
"They (the new board members) are recognized and respected leaders in our industry, and will bring invaluable insights to the USTMA board as we enhance a policy agenda that promotes growth, a strong U.S. economy, and more opportunities for American manufacturing," USTMA President and CEO Anne Forristall Luke said.
Mr. Bunn has been with Toyo since 2005 and was elected to his current post in January 2018. His tire industry career spans 40-plus years.
Mr. Choi has been with Kumho Tire for more than 28 years and has held leadership positions in South Korea, the Middle East and Europe. He was promoted to his current position in December.
Mr. Crola has been with Pirelli since 2006 and was named chairman and CEO of Pirelli Tire North America in February 2018.
Mr. Lehner has been with Bridgestone since January, joining the tire maker after 5 1/2 years with the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA).
