"People in the overland lifestyle really do need tires capable of traversing all types of terrain. We're looking forward to showing what these tires can do."
In addition to providing information about the tires being tested at the show, General Tire showcase its full line of light truck and SUV tires and offer educational panel discussions featuring Clay Croft of Expedition Overland and Weston Miller of Outworld HQ.
Overland Expo organizers Lodestone Events L.L.C. describes Overland as "exploring by self-contained means, usually by vehicle (often with four-wheel-drive capability) or adventure motorcycle."
It's long been a traditional way to describe safaris in Africa or exploring in Australia, Lodestone said.
There will be a second Overland Expo later in the year in the eastern half of the U.S.
