NORWELL, Mass. — Sullivan Tire & Auto Service's latest television commercial features Wally the Green Monster, the Boston Red Sox mascot, Sullivan Tire Vice President of Marketing Paul Sullivan and lots of kids.
The TV spots, filmed in Arizona this winter during the Red Sox's spring training, incorporate a cast of local kids, along with Wally and Mr. Sullivan. It is the second straight year Sullivan Tire has used Wally in its commercials.
The ads will air on New England Sports Network (NESN) during Red Sox games, as well as other local TV outlets across New England, beginning this month.
Mr. Sullivan said he enjoyed working with the mascot and kids.
"Our tradition continues with creating lighthearted and family-friendly commercials for the viewers of our world champion Boston Red Sox," he said.
The Red Sox, the 2018 World Series champion, open their Major League Baseball season on March 28 at Seattle against the Mariners. Boston's home opener is April 9 against the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park.
