COMPTON, Calif. — Transamerican Auto Parts L.L.C. has hired Jason DiFuccia to be senior marketing director for 4 Wheel Parts (4WP)/TAP Worldwide L.L.C., tasked with cultivating the 4 Wheel Parts brand globally.
Mr. DiFuccia comes to Transamerican from parent company Polaris Industries Inc., which bought Transamerican three years ago.
Mr. DiFuccia has 17 years of experience at Polaris in a variety of leadership roles, including director of marketing for Polaris Off-Road Vehicles and program director for newly formed Factory Choice initiative.
In his new position, Mr. DiFuccia will lead the marketing department for Transamerican Auto Parts, establishing "holistic" marketing strategies for the organization and cultivating the brand globally.
He will lead a team comprised of TAP Directors Brent Goegebuer (advertising/events), Joey DiGiovanni (creative marketing/partnerships) and Judd Kuehling (retention marketing).
In addition, he will be responsible for driving "collaborative, cross-functional" work across the TAP product design/manufacturing division to create demand for new products and ensure effective launches for in-house brands Pro Comp, Smittybilt, Poison Spyder, Rubicon Express, G2 Axle & Gear and LRG Rims.
4WP President Craig Scanlon called Mr. DiFuccia "uniquely qualified to revolutionize our TAP brands as well as our 4WP retail brand." He said Mr. DiFuccia was instrumental over the past decade in taking Polaris' largest division "to the next level."
Mr. DiFuccia said he sees a "big opportunity" for growth, considering that 4WP/TAP already is a leader in the Jeep/truck aftermarket space.
