BLUE BELL, Pa. — MAM Software Inc. is exhibiting its VAST point-of-sale/management system software this month at the dealer meetings of the Tuffy Tire & Auto Service and Car-X Tire & Auto franchise groups and U.S. AutoForce's 2019 Business Conference.
MAM exhibited at the Tuffy meeting Feb. 16 in Orlando, Fla., and is scheduled to exhibit at the Car-X Tire & Auto dealer meeting Feb. 21-24 in Chicago and U.S. AutoForce's business conference Feb. 27-28 in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., the Blue Bell-based software developer said.
MAM said VAST is designed to help both single and multi-location tire dealers and auto service shops increase revenues and generate incremental profits, while enhancing customer service and productivity.
Tuffy Tire is the franchise program of Toledo, Ohio-based Tuffy Associates Corp. At last report, there were 159 Tuffy Tire outlets in the U.S., in 16 states, predominantly in Florida (50-plus) and throughout the Great Lakes states (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin).
Car-X Tire is a franchise program administered by Monro Inc., which operates 53 Car-X locations itself. There are also 98 Car-X locations operated by independent franchisees.
Combined Locks, Wis.-based U.S. AutoForce is a major U.S. wholesaler distributing from 25 warehouses in a dozen states. It also supports retail dealerships through its TireOne, TreadPros and DealerForce programs.
The latest version of VAST includes features such as integration with MAM Software's parts catalog and connectivity solution for tire and auto service dealers, MAM Commerce. Built on MAM Software's OpenWebs e-commerce and Autocat catalog platforms, the MAM Commerce's open architecture provides users with a single solution for all their connectivity requirements.
MAM Software also will be showcasing MAM CarSide — a phone or tablet application that allows users to complete a digital inspection. MAM CarSide also integrates with Hunter's Quick Check and Quick Tread technologies.
