PALM BEACH GARDEN, Fla. — TBC Corp. has expanded its premium performance tire offerings with the addition of Sumitomo HTR Enhance LX2, CX2 and WX2.

The Enhance line offers more than 80 sizes — 43 for passenger, 25 for CUV and SUV, and 14 for UHP for sedans and CUVs — for rims 15- to 20-inches in diameter.

"TBC Brands is excited to expand the Sumitomo brand lineup with the addition of the HTR Enhance family, which spans three of the fastest growing market segments in the industry," said Jon Vance, senior vice president of product marketing for TBC Corp.

An all-season touring tire, the Enhance LX2 is designed to provide a comfortable ride for a range of road conditions. It comes with a 90,000-mile limited treadwear warranty for all T-rated sizes, and 75,000-mile limited treadwear warranty for all H- and V-rated sizes. The tire also is covered by free lifetime defect replacement, two-year 24/ roadside assistance coverage and a 45-day drive test.

It is available throughout North America.

The Enhance CX2 provides CUV and SUV drivers with a year-round performance tire that can handle heavier loads, TBC said. The Enhance WX2, meanwhile, is an ultra-high performance tire that is intended to provide traction, handling and cornering in every season.

Both of these tires are expected to be available throughout North America during the second quarter of 2019.

The CX2 features a 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty on all sizes, while the WX2 has a 55,000-mile limited treadwear warranty that applies to all sizes. A 45-day drive test is included in the warranty package for both tires, along with two-year, 24/7 roadside assistance coverage and free lifetime defect replacement.

"This family of tires was designed for dealers seeking an exclusive, high quality product with top tier performance all while offering enhanced profitability," Mr. Vance said. "With the HTR Enhance, dealers will be able to stock one line that covers multiple vehicle fitments while making it easy for retail associates to sell this go-to product."
