WASHINGTON — The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) has selected Anne Forristall Luke, president and CEO of the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA), to be vice chair in 2019 of the group's Council of Manufacturing Associations (CMA).
Consisting of more than 260 industry-specific manufacturing associations, the CMA 's mission is to bolster the manufacturing sector's nationwide grassroots mobilization efforts and improve the competitiveness of manufacturers in the U.S.
Kimberly Korbel, executive director of the American Wire Producers Association, is CMA chair for 2019, according to an NAM. She was the council's vice chair in 2018.
CMA members work with NAM to unite the manufacturing association community and, ultimately, the broader business community, around strategies for increased manufacturing job creation, investment and innovation in America, NAM said.
