EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Accuride Corp. has hired Jason Luo as interim president and CEO of the board of directors, filling spots vacated by Rick Dauch, who accepted a position as CEO of Delphi Technologies.
Mr. Luo previously was chairman and CEO of Ford Motor Co. China and, prior to that, president and CEO of Key Safety Systems Co.
He has been on the Accuride board of directors since March 2018 and also serves as a senior adviser to Crestview Partners, the majority owner of Accuride, a producer of steel and alloy wheels for the commercial vehicle industry.
Accuride said its board has begun a search for a permanent CEO.
"Since our investment in Accuride in 2016, the company has embarked on a strategy to transform itself from a North American supplier into a global leader," Accuride Chairman Thomas Murphy said.
"Crestview and Jason have worked together closely and successfully for over a decade and Accuride is fortunate to have such a talented and highly respected executive lead the company's outstanding team as we search for a permanent CEO."
