Some 2006-07 Dodge Ram Trucks and Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander models with 5.7-liter V8 engines may illuminate the check engine light and store one or more of the following trouble codes in computer memory: P0404, P0405 and P0406.
If there are no drivability symptoms and your scanner doesn't reveal anything out of the ordinary, the codes are bogus, Chrysler said. Reprogramming the PCM with updated software is the only surefire fix.
Check with a dealer for the specifics of the flash.
