Chrysler says that the power liftgate button on some 2002-07 Town & Country, Caravan and Voyager minivans may operate sporadically — failing to open or close the liftgate on the first press, then operating the liftgate normally on the next.
The car maker attributes the condition to software anomalies in the power liftgate module. Reprogramming the module with updated software is the only reliable fix.
Check with a dealer for the specifics of the flash.
