OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops has opened a dozen travel stops in the past five months, including three with a Love's Truck Tire Care on site and four with Speedco truck service locations on site.
The new stops are in Berthoud, Colo.; Elkhart and Tipton, Ind.; Oakwood, Ill.; Frenchtown, Mich.; Sidney, Ohio; El Reno, Okla.; Yemasee, S.C.; Sonora and Sulphur Springs, Texas; Moor, Va.; and Laramie, Wyo.
The Berthoud, Frenchtown and Laramie stops have Love's Truck Tire Care services on site, while the Sidney, Sonora, Sulphur Springs and Tipton stops have Speedco services on site.
In addition, Love's has opened a Speedco outlet at an existing travel stop in Pendleton, Ky.
The new travel stops expand Love's network to 470-plus travel stops in 41 states, including more than 285 with Love's Truck Tire Care centers on site and 56 with Speedco-branded locations.
Love's Travel Stops acquired the Speedco business in November 2017 from Bridgestone Americas Inc. and earlier this year expanded the tire brands offered at Speedco outlets to include Aeolus, BFGoodrich, Goodyear, Kelly, Michelin and Yokohama — along with Love's own retread line — to the Bridgestone and Dayton brands already available there.
